Techniques for Dungeon Play with a Whip

This hour and a half hands on workshop will quickly cover basic techniques for dungeon play and then progress to more advanced techniques. Connecting footwork to changes on the other end of the whip. Dynamic throwing with a rhythm, footwork, changing planes while remaining on your whip circle, multiple cracks, feathering techniques, and breaking rhythm. Ways of connecting with the bottom, beginnings, middles and end of scene. Environment, to crack or not to crack, energy exchange, and dark energy will be discussed if time allows. Intentionality in play, consent, and what constitutes good form. Whip catchers are welcome. Homework challenge will be to select key techniques that you personally connect with and to practice incorporating them into your own style and whip scenes.
