Important Notice Regarding Fraudulent “Attendee List” Solicitations
Since 2024, and continuing again in both 2025 and 2026, it has come to our attention that individuals using GMail accounts, reportedly linked back to India while presenting themselves under U.S.-based business names, have been contacting our vendors, exhibitors, industry partners, and talent attendees attempting to sell what they claim are “FETISH CON™ attendee lists.”
We want to make this absolutely clear:
XIX Events, LLC and FETISH CON™ have never sold, shared, rented, or distributed attendee or mailing list information to any third party – and we never will.
Additionally, the third-party services and platforms we work with operate under explicit privacy and confidentiality agreements regarding attendee information. Protecting the privacy of our attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, talent, and industry partners remains one of our highest priorities.
As outlined in our official Privacy Policy, attendee information is collected solely for legitimate event-related operations and communications and is not sold to outside parties.
Based on the information available to us, we believe these scammers are scraping publicly available names from our website and then locating publicly available business email addresses to distribute fraudulent solicitation emails. Following an internal review and verification of the safeguards in place across our event and registration systems, including routine monthly security checks and daily system monitoring and reporting, we have found no evidence that the purported lists being offered originated from any official FETISH CON™ attendee, exhibitor, or registration database.
The repeated nature of these solicitations over multiple years strongly suggests this is an ongoing scam targeting people within the industry through the misuse of the FETISH CON™ name. We are also aware that similar fraudulent “attendee list” claims are being sent across the adult and fetish industry using the names of numerous major events and trade shows, both within the United States and internationally.
We are currently reviewing the matter with legal counsel and exploring appropriate action regarding the unauthorized use of our brand name and any associated fraudulent activity.
If you receive emails or messages from anyone claiming to sell a FETISH CON™ attendee list, we strongly encourage you to:
- Avoid engaging with the sender
- Do not purchase the list it can compromise your credit card or bank account
- Treat unsolicited list sales claims with caution and as a scam
- Forward suspicious communications to legal@fetishcon.com for documentation purposes
Always Report Suspected Scam & Fraudulent Emails:
If you receive one of these emails through GMail, you can report the message directly to Google by opening the email, clicking the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner, and selecting “Report phishing” or “Report spam.” This helps Google identify and take action against fraudulent accounts and scam activity.
Suspicious GMail accounts and phishing emails can also be reported directly to Google at: https://support.google.com/mail/contact/abuse
Your privacy and trust are extremely important to us, and we remain committed to always protecting both.
